Confined Space Attendant- Approx 1.25 hours. When combined with the hands-on portion of the course after the completion of the online module this course will provide the learner the knowledge and basic skills to perform work as a confined space ATTENDANT. ThIs 2nd level course is included with the site consulting plans and customization takes place during the active auditing and consulting process. Development / Customization may involve added fees dependent on levels of change/update and configuration. Updates are billed out as standard time and may be part of the normal consulting time agreed upon.

Powered Aerial Platform – Custom

This training is custom to your site’s particular powered lift system which does not operate using powered wheels or horizontal movement. These type powered platforms are specific to maintenance type activities and similar work. The course will be a quick review of the safety protocol using these devices and the hazards and controls employed to make working on them safe. Aspects greatly depend on model, type and usage at the local level.

Annual Fire Extinguisher – Custom

This short annually required training course specifies you site’s flammable and/or combustible fire hazards and the types of extinguishers to be used. The course also explains how an authorized employee would put out a fire, the location of extinguishers and fire hazards, and fire fighting basics. Once completed your employees are considered to have completed annual refresher training. The certificate can require a hands-on review with supervision before signoff.

Hazard Communication Process – Custom

MA State P.A.I. Certification for Hot Work Safety

This 45 minute interactive learning module and quiz will enable the learner to become a certified “Permit Authorizing Individual” (P.A.I.) for Hot Work Safety in the state of Massachusetts. The learner will review the regulation, roles, scope and exemptions of the Massachusetts 527 CMR 1, Chapter 41 “Welding, Cutting, and Other Hot Work” along with key information on O.S.H.A. regulation 29 CFR 1910.252 and N.F.P.A. standard 51B. The successful completion of this course is a requirement for most anyone who conducts welding or grinding of any type which also has the ability to ignite combustible material and cause death, injury, illness or property loss in the state of Massachusetts. Those required to take this training include the permit issuing person, the worker who is welding or grinding, and any number of people assigned to fire watch or monitor. The certificate of completion will contain a cutout certification card that can be laminated and kept by the P.A.I. while working as required.
